The Troy & Theodora Polamalu Foundation Fund was originally created with the intention of creating a personal vehicle for the Polamalu family to share their fortune with the community around them and the lands of their heritage. As years have passed, and as they have identified additional needs of the world around them, their personal fund has grown from a personally sustained fund to a foundation that aims to raise awareness of the circumstances surrounding those less fortunate, and to increase fundraising efforts in order to provide a larger scale of assistance.
Beginning with a luau in Pittsburgh that not only provided a means for Troy to share his heritage with the Pittsburgh community, but raised money for his Bi-Annual Fa'a American Samoa Camp, fundraising efforts have increased to include a dinner series, online auctions, galas, golf tournaments, and community events in various cities throughout the US.
